Headworks & Screening Solutions

Ramtech’s Wastewater Treatment Equipment solutions include, but are not limited to:

Huber Technology is a global leader in stainless steel headworks equipment, providing durable, high‑performance solutions trusted in more than 60,000 installations worldwide. Huber’s comprehensive product range, including bar screens, multi‑rake step screens, perforated plate belt screens, drum screens, grit removal and washing systems, and complete screenings handling equipment, is engineered to maximize hydraulic capacity, increase solids capture, and protect downstream processes. All Huber systems are constructed from corrosion‑resistant stainless steel and supported by decades of specialized wastewater experience, delivering long service life, reduced maintenance needs, lower lifecycle costs, and reliable integration into both new facilities and retrofit applications.

Parkson offers a variety of in-channel and gravity-fed rotating and static screens with a wide range of screen opening types. We also offer screening handling processes such as conveying, washing, and dewatering, and when combined with a screen, is a complete screening and screenings handling system.

Duperon Corporation based in Saginaw, Michigan leads the wastewater treatment industry with innovative technologies and equipment that include fine and coarse mechanical bar screeninglow flow bar screenswasher compacting, and screenings conveyance.

Duperon bar screens are fully self-cleaned with no lower bearing in the wastewater. This removes the need for screens to pivot out of the channel for maintenance. Our unique washer compactors feature a twin-screw configuration which can push dewatered material vertically up to 40 feet.

Screening benefits the process of wastewater, by-product, and water treatment by removing troublesome and recognizable solids so they do not harm or damage downstream equipment and processes. Screening reduces operator workload by avoiding costly downtime of such items such as pumps, valves, and other mechanical or process equipment.

Salsnes Filters by Trojan Technologies has developed a unique solution for replacing conventional primary separation in 1/10th the land clarifiers use. Combining separation, thickening, and dewatering into one screen can help reduce the overall BOD loading by 20%, TSS by 50%, and produce a drier sludge of 20-30% wt.

Out of Trojan Technologies lab in London, Ontario Salsnes can perform sieve tests on wastewater samples to predict removal rates and be able to offer a performance guarantee. This is recommended for all new projects.
